Reporting directly to the Manager, IP and Technical Development, the IP and Technical Development Associate will be responsible for coordinating product development from concept through to launch, managing patents from idea to issue, and communicating these successes internally and externally. This role will involve direct contact with all departments throughout the company including R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations, Marketing and Sales providing a fantastic opportunity to understand and gain experience of all elements of Research and Development business. The Associate will merge their scientific background with their business acumen to negotiate projects through complex technical development whilst also utilising their scientific abilities for research and reasoned argument to assist in management of the IP portfolio. The associate will also assist in communicating the achievements of the department and the company both internally and externally.
Duties:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
A PhD degree in Biological or Medical Sciences, or a MSc degree with 1-2 years of business experience.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Administrative Assistant to CFO provides administrative support to the CFO and the finance department, including Controller, Director Finance, Director Financial Reporting and Compliance Officer, with a high degree of confidentiality, as well, maintains schedules for CFO and follows up on project files.
